Teollisuusummit is the biggest industry-related seminar and contact event in Northern Finland, and it’s aimed at industry practitioners, experts and leaders. The Seminar was held in Oulu, Finland from 8th to 9th October. IndustrySummit goal is to improve competitiveness for small and large companies alike.



Hispack brought together around 700 exhibitors associated with the packaging value chain who showcased the latest in machinery, technology, equipment, coding, labelling, processes, sustainability, new materials, smart packaging, logistics and PoP, amongst others. The fair was held 21-24 April in Barcelona, Spain.



INTERPACK 2014 took place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 1st to 8th May. Interpack is the essential event for the food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-food and industrial goods sectors.



EMPACK is focused on packaging solutions from materials, equipment and technology, to design and marking techniques through to recycling and environmental packaging, Empack is designed for visitors from medium-sized enterprises that want to find out about the lastest packaging technologies. The fair has gathered more than 300 exhibitors and 7800 exhibitors in just to days.


TAPPI 2015

TAPPI 2015 gathered over 200 experts from more than 20 countries. This year’s conference highlights over 110 technical presentations on production, characterization, applications and functionalizaton of renewable nanomaterials. During the conferenceMelodea presented the FLHEA project and NCC industrial applications at TAPPI 2015 in Atlanta.


TechConnect National Innovation Showcase 2015

The TechConnect World Innovation Conference is an annual event designed to accelerate the commercialization of innovations out of the lab and into the market.  TechConnect spotlights applications focused innovations, materials and devices emerging from industrial, government and academic laboratories worldwide. This year edition was held in Washington DC June 14-17.


TAPPI 2014

2014 TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials was held in Vancouver June 23-26. Nanocellulose is now making the leap from the lab to the market but will take time and require more investment in chemistry, physics, and engineering. The latest developments in applications, nano-enabled functionalities, preparation and characterization of renewable nanomaterials were presented at TAPPI’s 8th annual conference.
